We have just spent a week at Karma Lake of Menteith which Karma Group acquired recently. What a charming place in a most beautiful setting. The hotel is right on the lakeside looking on to a wooded island which we understand had a pair of nesting Ospreys. They have now flown off but hopefully will return next year. The hotel has lots of character and the staff, largely local, are delightfully friendly as well as helpful. The meals were both generous in size and extremely tasty. We were fortunate in that we had no rain or midges, but the sunsets were spectacular. All in all we had a very happy stay in a most beautiful part of Scotland.
