There Was Nothing Mini About The "Minibar" at Karma Sanctum Soho

Hi

If you want to visit London and stay in the heart of the action, then Karma Sanctum Soho will fit the bill.

The décor is decidedly rock’n’roll and classy. Our room was comfortable we slept really well. The bathroom was large and well-appointed. There was nothing mini about the "minibar" in keeping with what you'd expect if you were a rock star :).

On arrival, we were welcomed at reception and being early, we could leave our cases and head out sightseeing right away.

We opted to take a Thames cruise down to the Cutty Sark Museum. That trip was worth it for the witty commentary by the crew.

When we got back, our luggage was already in our room.

We dined in-house and had an interesting Asian influence dinner and went up to the rooftop bar for a couple of drinks before retiring.

The next morning, we were able to have a delicious full English breakfast before setting out to explore:

  • • Piccadilly Circus.
  • • Window shopping along Regent Street for my next tiara (hahaha).
  • • Passed the Ritz.
  • • We walked past a number of theatres in the West End with the ushers in long red and black brass-buttoned coats.
  • • Walked through St James Park with the Princess Diana Memorial Walk.
  • • We passed Westminster.
  • • Walked past Buckingham Palace for a couple of photos.

These stops were on our way to a delightful high tea on Briget’s Afternoon tea bus tour.

Sadly, we had to leave the next day, but we had time after breakfast to wander around to Carnaby Street, literally around the corner from Karma Sanctum Soho.

I am not usually much of a walker, but I found Karma Sanctum Soho easy as a base to explore London.

Thank you!

Lyndy Rol and Steve Kelly
